Instructions
  1. Cut the chicken breasts into 1-2″ chunks. Coat and toss in arrowroot, salt, and pepper
  2. Coat the pan with olive oil and sesame oil. Heat to medium high. Once the pan is up to temperature, place in the chicken. Pan fry for about 6 minutes, or until browned, stirring ocassionally. Make the sauce (Step 3) during this time.
  3. Put all sauce ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. The consistency should be creamy but not a paste.
  4. Pour sauce over chicken, reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and simmer for 10minutes
  5. Once chicken is cooked through, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes

I cannot stress enough that a cayenne pepper sauce (like Frank’s, Cholula, Tabasco etc) will not give the same flavor profile. A red jalapeno sauce should work, so if you find a different brand that is Whole30 compliant, so for it and let me know how it goes!

This dish is excellent served over  Toasted Caul-Rice!

note: the pepper sauce is an affiliate link, however I highly recommend you look local because it will probably be cheaper. If you can’t find it elsewhere, know that anything earned through that link helps me create more Whole30 recipes!
