Grocery List + Meal Plan 4/2/17

Our grocery list and meals for the week! Items not Whole30 approved are specifically called out as such and will be used by my husband, who has a childlike love for PB&J sandwiches that I find adorable.

Grocery List for the Week

  • Bell Peppers (Red/Orange/Yellow)
  • pineapple
  • mushrooms
  • onions
  • potatoes
  • sweet potatoes
  • mini tomato medley
  • coleslaw mix
  • eggs
  • Peanut Butter (not Whole30 – hubby wants PB&Js)
  • Multigrain Bread (see above note lol)
  • cooking spray – Husband is picking it up so it probably wont be Whole30, but {here} is one that’s Whole30 compliant and relatively inexpensive!
  • bacon …unfortunately the ONLY bacon around us that is Whole30 compliant is low-quality-garnish-only. I’ve checked every health food store and grocery store. Boo.

Meals Planned/To-be-Prepped

  • Frittata – onion/mushroom/kale (done by hubby – see featured photo)
  • Steaks & Roasted Sweet Potatoes
  • Burgers & Potatoes (recipie soon)
  • Grilled veggies
  • Pickled Eggs (recipe soon because these are damn delicious)
  • Cabbage Rolls

Note: there is a lot more red meat than we’d usually be eating, simply because we’ve got a freezer full and with the whole “unexpectedly-having-to-purchase-a-car” thing, the grocery budget is super tight this month. So we are making an effort to use what we have.
